My transgender identity is Kris. I live in South Africa, which makes it all the more difficult to be what I am. This blog is about my present, past and hopefully, future.
I have lived with a partner for more than a quarter of a century and am married to her (civil union). We have a Pug dog child. My partner, B, is battling with accepting that she is living with an individual who is wearing a mask and a cloak most of the time. The dog accepts and loves me for who I am. If only people were like dogs…
I blog about my experiences as an undercover trans man and about my life in general. It is a highly personalize view of the world and I make no apologies for that, but I aim to live and let live.
The title of this blog is taken from Sir Walter Scott’s (1771–1832) Marmion, A Tale of Flodden Field, Canto vi Stanza 17:
“Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive!”
